Storage Device.
- 4. ROM stand for: Read Only Memory. ROM is
useful for storing software that is rarely changed during the life of the
system, also known as firmware. Software applications (like video
games) for programmable devices can be distributed as plug-in
cartridges containing ROM.
- 5. RAM stand for: Random Access Memory. Refers
to memory that can be selected and used randomly the information stored here
disappears the very moment the machine is turned off. It also referred to as a
volatile memory.
- 6. Primary and
Secondary memory.
- 7. Input device: is any hardware component that allows you to enter data and instruction into a computer.
- Output device: is any hardware component that conveys information from a computer to one or more people.
